The Mothers’ Bridge of Love (MBL) is a UK registered charity with a head office in London. It was founded by world renowned writer Xinran, who wrote Good women of China.
Our charity is to help Chinese orphans who adopted by western families to trace and access Chinese culture and heritage. We also strike to help those children in destitute condition in rural China. ‘Culture for children’ is our mission. Our service is also reaching out to any Chinese children overseas in Chinese communities.
Currently, a position of voluntary HR trainee officer is available in the head-office. Successful candidate would be responsible for recruiting, managing and maintaining volunteers, working closely with CEO to develop short-term, median-term and long-term HR strategy.
The minimum time commitment is 6 month. 2 or 3 days a week in the head-office is required. HR qualification or graduate is desired but not essential.
In return, you will benefit from various training opportunities as opposed to professional development plan such as on job training, job shadowing both internally with our CEO, and externally with mentor. On completion, you will receive a joint certificate on completion the joint training programme with MBL and our partnership company i.e. Accenture. Socially, you will meet up some other volunteers from different countries. A friendly learning and supportive environment is guaranteed. Your professional development is envisaged to develop alongside the development of our charity which is small but with big goals.
Visa support is considered on voluntary basis to immigration office.
